Well, Claire and I are off to Spencer for a few days. My mom's having her thyroid removed tomorrow morning. She'll come home after a night in the hospital...so Claire and I are going to take care of her so Roy can go to work. It shouldn't be a big deal...but it's still a surgery. And, Lord knows, our family has spent enough time in Bloomington Hospital in the last few years.
Claire is hit and miss on her sleeping schedule. Last night she cried for almost 2 hours...for no reason other than she didn't want to go to sleep. We're gonna have to work on that! This afternoon she's been great...sleeping in the swing while I cleaned and packed a bit.
I'll try to update with some new pictures later...I'm hoping for some downtime this evening to get the last of my homework done and post some pictures! Stay cool in this ridiculous summer heat!
