So, apparently, the effects of immunizations can creep up a few days later. Not something I expected!
We went to Indy last night to have dinner with Josh's parents, Mike and Jan. While visiting after dinner at a really nice restaurant, Claire unceremoniously coated her car seat and herself in spit-up. Great...at a nice place, no less. She then proceeded to fill her diaper with yuckiness. After we got to the bathroom for a full wardrobe change...she filled her new, clean diaper with loose, runny yuckiness. Even better...now we're in a nice restaurant restroom with diarrhea. Ugh... Problems aside, we had an awesome time and Claire was an angel at dinner. She slept all the way home.
After a whole week of sleeping through the night...she got up last night to eat around 3am. And after finally crashing around 4:30am in the bouncy seat in our room, she slept until around 9am. I was so spoiled by the sleeping through the night, that 3am was really rough for me!
Today, she's spent most of her time acting like her tummy hurt (wiggling around, flexing her belly muscles, crying, spitting up, etc). And then, the icing on the cake...she developed a low grade temp. Great...perfect...a sick baby... Now, she's sleeping after tylenol and some intense rocking with Mom. Here's hoping she chills out for a bit and gives me a break from the clingy baby syndrome!
