Back in the Haute...

We're back from Spencer with good news! Mom did awesome on Monday with her surgery and is now recovering at home. She's doing well, but has a big icky incision to show for it! Hopefully the rest of her recovery will go well. Thanks to all of those who prayed for her...I know she appreciates it!

Claire was a traveling trooper...I couldn't have asked for a better baby! She slept and ate well, and even behaved while we were waiting in the hospital. AND...she's starting to smile and coo in reaction to people talking to her. It is truly amazing to watch her grow and develop! Amazing...

Another big development occurred yesterday...THE FURNITURE FINALLY ARRIVED! They didn't deliver it for free (as they had promised), but the manager cut Adam a check for what we would have been credited for the free delivery...so it's okay! He and Josh stayed up really late last night putting the crib together, putting the rugs down, and hanging the hot air balloons from Seattle from the ceiling. It is B-E-A-utiful...and I'll post some pictures as soon as its a clean and pretty room (it's still scattered with baby gifts right now!) I am so pumped about it! She'll be sleeping in her room for the first time tonight...wish us luck!

Following are some pictures of the peanut...these are a few days old! Enjoy!

Beautiful baby girl (and her Soothie, of course)

Our usual after-nap look...missing the blankie entirely!

Growing, growing, growing...love those socks!

Check back for more later...I'm doing a pretty good job with this thing (and I'm rather proud of myself!) Thanks for reading and looking!!
