...has officially made her appearance! Claire spent the whole day today crying, with the exception of about one hour of sleep...but not consecutive sleep. It was a really tough day. Adam pretty much had her thrown at him when he got home from work this afternoon. Finally, she crashed for her afternoon nap around 6pm. Adam got a nice nap too before dinner. All in all, we are a stressed and tired household today. I just put her to bed around 11pm...and I'm hoping she sleeps for a while tonight. More than hoping, I'm praying that she does...
We go on Thursday at 9am for Claire's 2 month doctor's appointment. I'm looking forward to seeing how long she is (since she feels like she's longer) and how much she weighs! We're guessing around 10 or so pounds... but we'll welcome any guesses that you folks have in the comments section of this post! How much do you think the chunk weighs this week???:) (Do note, there isn't a prize for the winner...unless you count the unending joy of knowing that you were right as a prize!)
And, another class is over and grades are in! Just three more semesters and I'm done with this degree! I'm excited about the fall semester...I'm taking an advanced pharmacology class as an elective. It should prove to be just challenging enough that I can manage, but also enjoy it!
So, for now, I'm going to enjoy a few more days with no real obligation...except for taking care of Claire-bear, of course! (...don't forget to get those weight guesses in the comments!)
