It seems to me like it was yesterday that Claire was born. I flip through the photo album and baby book and get so excited to see what her future will hold!
We have a conversation every morning over our morning diaper change...I usually do most of the talking, but occasionally she gives me an "ohhhh" or "ggggg". She's fascinated with the "ggg" noise right now. She smiles at the drop of a hat...which is really awesome for us! Its so cute to watch Adam talk with her and her responses back to him are so sweet!
Last night she spent 30 minutes talking to the kitchen cabinets while I made dinner...apparently it was a very stimulating conversation, as she giggled and babbled the whole time! I love this little girl...
On a sad note, I go back to work next week...I work one shift and then the following week I'm back full time (3 shifts per week). Ugh...I'm not ready! I have loved all of this time with Claire. It has been a lot of fun, a lot of work, and an awesome experience! I think I needed the whole 12 weeks to learn how to be a mommy...and now I need another 12 weeks to figure out how to be a working mommy! Wish me luck!
