We're on every two weeks now!

We had an appointment with Dr. C. last Friday...and now we go to see her every two weeks! That means we're on the downhill slide...AHHH!:) We're so unprepared, house-wise anyway, for her arrival! We hope that the furniture shows up before this little girl does! I guess if it doesn't it isn't a big deal and she won't even notice!

I had my one hour glucose tolerance test on Friday too. My fasting finger-stick blood sugar was 88 (which is good) and then I drank the nasty orange stuff (you were right, Lindsay). My blood was drawn after an hour and we went to eat. Seriously, who asks a pregnant woman to fast for that long...I was RAVENOUSLY hungry! So I called yesterday to find out my results. Apparently my one hour glucose was 149...and they consider that high! Now I have to do the three hour glucose tolerance test. According to the nurse at Dr. C's office, if I "pass" (a sugar of 70-129) two of the three glucoses, then I'm in the clear.

Other than all of that nonsense...we're plugging right along! I'm getting excited for next month, when we have baby showers and all kinds of things like that to celebrate this little one! She moves around ALL THE TIME in there...and is starting to keep mommy awake some of the time! My back/sciatic hurts pretty much all the time, but I'm keeping up! Work is getting more and more difficult to do...and I notice the baby belly getting in the way more and more often! Its hard to work when you're up about 30 pounds...yep, 30 pounds in just six short months of pregnancy (most of that in the last 2 months!) Apparently she's growing big in there (but hopefully not too big...)
