TaDa! I can get things on the blog in a timely manner!!! Here are a few of the handful of 3D ultrasound images from yesterday! Apparently, my placenta is anterior (on the front of my belly) and she has her little face up against it. This made it tough to get really clear pictures of her. However, if you look at the images larger and stand away from your screen, there really is a cute little face in there! She looks like she's got a bit of hair (thats from a regular ultrasound just before the 3D one...I don't have digital images of that), big feet, chubby cheeks, and poofy lips! She appears to be pretty cute at this point! She also wouldn't keep her hands away from her face. Mommy and Daddy did get to see a few smiles and grouchy faces that she made, and we got to see her moving around in there! It was so neat!! AND...she is positively a GIRL! The tech estimated her at 4lb 8oz right now...meaning that by the end of this pregnancy she'll be between 8 and 9 lbs! That's a sturdy baby! There is no doubt now, folks! Now to find a name!

I'm feeling much better, but starting to get the "end of pregnancy" woes that I've heard about. My back is totally killing me and my right hip hurts so bad sometimes that I can't even stand on it! I pee ALL the time and I cannot get enough to eat. To add insult to injury, I'm not sure my gestational diabetes diagnosis is correct, since my blood sugars have been stellar for the last full week! So I feel like I'm poking my fingers all the time for nothing!
