It's official...I'm almost over my cold! Yesss... The downside...Adam has it now. He's upstairs trying to sleep it off (the only known "cure" for a cold!) Ugh. This house has been perpetually sick for the last several weeks. First Claire, then me, and now Adam. Last night we super-cleaned and I bleached a BUNCH of stuff! Hopefully, we'll kick this thing in the next few days!
Claire is the same sweet little one as ever! I can't believe how much she's grown and changed over the last five months (YEAH, I KNOW...in six short days, my baby will be FIVE MONTHS OLD! Geezz...) I was looking at her newborn pictures this morning and I cannot believe that we are the parents of a five month old child. Next time I blink, I'm afraid she'll be going to kindergarten and then saying "Moooom....you're embarassing me!!!" when I drop her off in front of the middle school, and then coming home from high school to tell me about the prom. Oh...my...goodness...my daughter will go to prom...
I just can't wait to see how she turns out...what she's like...what she's interested in...where she will go...what she will be... I hope she meets a man as wonderful as her Daddy someday. I hope she finds herself in a marriage that is as wonderful as this one is for Adam and I.
I'm overwhelmed with wonder in my daughter...and I hope that never changes... :)
