No new pictures today...sorry, Grandma and Grandpa! Just a quick update before bed...that's right, we're old and it's almost bedtime!
Adam and I did some Christmas/much needed shopping today. I needed new work shoes REALLY badly and Adam needed some dress clothes for school. Anyhow... We went to lunch before we started shopping and Claire had her first round of solid food from a high chair in public! She ate like a champ, but was still a tiny bit too small for the highchair. She was a perfect little angel through the mall too, until we hit hours past her naptime and had to give up and go home!
I start week two of dayshift tomorrow. I forgot how busy dayshift was when I was a student...and it seems that it is REALLY busy now! I'm adjusting okay, but a different shift comes with different work...discharges, patients fresh from the cath lab, doctors and families... And the new sleep schedule is an okay thing. I finally feel as if I have my life back! Yay!
Happy Thanksgiving this week...hopefully the next post will bring some cute family photos from Claire's first winter holiday!
