I know many of you are upset at the lack of photos...namely those precious 20 week ultrasound pictures. Sadly, you won't see those tonight. Our house is in an even bigger mess right now, and hooking up the printer isn't a priority. (more to come on that later).
However, you will note the 22 week belly picture (only two weeks late...it should have been a 20 week picture) on the side column! No, I'm not pushing out my stomach, that's how big it is. As far as fun new developments, almost none of my pre-pregnancy clothes fit now, I get short of breath going up a flight of stairs or bending over, and I can't seem to get enough to eat! The little one is extremely active and lets mommy know that he or she is in there and awake! It's so strange to sit still and feel someone kick you from the inside...it still shocks me sometimes how hard he or she can kick. Adam has yet to feel a kick from the outside...and I noticed only in the last few days that I can occasionally feel one on the outside of my belly. So, we're hoping that Dad gets to feel those little punches soon!
We have done TONS of painting this weekend...T-O-N-S! Jeff and Mona (Adam's parents) came up to help. Before we knew it we had a new plumbing disaster...the tub wouldn't drain. So the guys tried to snake it out and then poured some chemical stuff in the tub. Within a few seconds, we were all screaming and covering the living room with all the plastic we could find. The ceiling leaked from the stuff coming out of the pipes from the tub. It is a huge mess, that will be fixed next weekend while the guys also do the hardwood floors. Thank goodness we have a shower that works in the basement! So now, we sleep and shower in the basement and eat in the kitchen....and our home is a construction zone!
All of that being said, its still going well! We're both very stressed and busy...but so happy and excited all at the same time! Seattle is only a few weeks away and EVERYONE needs this vacation!
And now, mom needs her sleep! It's been a LOOOOONG weekend and I haven't slept well at all (just another fun new pregnancy development...you try to get comfortable with a little person beating up your belly!)
