...baby! The good news is that Baby Allen is healthy and measuring right on for it's age. The bad news...he or she wouldn't cooperate and open up their legs. He or she was facing down towards my feet and just refused to let us get a peek. I guess he or she is modest! At first, the tech said she was 70% sure we had a girl. But, five minutes later she said she wasn't sure. And then, five minutes after that, she said that it might be a boy. So, we don't know!
It doesn't really change our plans for right now. The baby's room will still be painted a light khaki color with a sky mural on the ceiling. We'll still order the same furniture (style is currently pending...a source of much debate). But, instead of shopping with Mamaw (Amy's mommy) for girl or boy fabric, we're going to have to pick out some neutral fabrics (maybe in shades of green...).
One way or the other, we WILL know the sex (okay, hopefully, we will know) in April when we have our 3D ultrasound. So, stay tuned for more baby debate!
As a fun side note, one that Lindsay will surely enjoy, I had gained a whopping 7 pounds from the last visit to this one! SEVEN POUNDS! I've never fluctuated that much in my whole life! And, my jeans and my size small scrub pants are entirely too small!
(ultrasound pics to come...they aren't stellar pictures of the little one, but they are awfully sweet!)
