My poor Claire-bear!:( We knew she had some sort of a chest cold over the last weekend. We weren't worried about it, since she didn't have a fever or any other symptoms except a cough and lots of chest congestion...and a REALLY snotty nose. I had even called the pediatrician's nurse...and was told not to really worry unless she got worse. So I didn't worry...

Until today. We called daycare to tell them that Claire wouldn't be there today, and we were informed that another child had been hospitalized with RSV and pneumonia. We made a Dr's appointment on the chance that Claire was sicker than we realized. After noticing a fine rash across her belly and back, and that her cough was worsening...we headed in. Turns out, she might have a respiratory infection, but nothing too concerning since she isn't showing any signs of respiratory distress. On the other hand, she is suffering from an ear infection...earning her some amoxocillin and a few days at home with Daddy. Tonight she is in good spirits despite a fever and LOTS of snot (who knew so much snot could come out of a sweet little girl!?!) I guess we'll just medicate her for 10 days with antibiotics and keep an eye on her! Enjoy the new pictures!
