Goodbye, 2008...Hello 2009!

It's hard to believe that the year that we became parents in has come and gone. I can remember toasting on New Year's Eve last year (at work...toasting with co-workers and Adam with sparkling grape juice!). We joyfully toasted to becoming parents and starting a new adventure in our lives!

I found a blog update on a friends blog (thanks, Stephanie...I totally stole your idea) where she posted her favorite pictures of 2008. Here are a few of mine!

This year wasn't all sunshine and daisies. We lost Papaw on January 11, 2008. He is greatly missed...and I really wish he could have met Claire. I know he's watching from above and has watched her grow and change.

So, with that, Goodbye 2008! It has been both a great year...and a rough one...and I can't wait for the years to come!:)
