Claire spent her first day at daycare yesterday. I hurried home from work, fed her, changed her, and drove her to Little Hands. (sigh) It was really hard for me to just leave her somewhere and go home to sleep. (sigh) But, Adam picked her up when he was done with school, and she was fine. So fine, in fact, that she slept the rest of the afternoon and then slept all night! I think they wore her out!
I've decided that since we're paying for full time daycare, she should be there each weekday even if I don't have to work/sleep... So today, Claire is at daycare and I'm at home...cleaning and studying. It's so weird to just have time to get things done...and not have to stop to entertain a three month old!
Friday marks three months ago that Claire was born! THREE MONTHS! It feels like it was yesterday! All of her new developments are exciting! Last night she giggled in the car on the way to dinner...a full belly giggle accompanied by the hiccups! She "talks" all the time...to me, to Adam, to the mobile, to the cabinets...she's a talker! This week we're starting cereal. I'm not sure exactly when (I'm trying to time it so Adam and I are both home and at a time when Claire is most awake and hungry! Maybe morning time??) We'll figure it out! Stay tuned for pictures!
