Remember this blast from the past?
Claire Madeline was a mere 3 months old, right around this time last year, actually!
I caught a lot of flack over that picture. "Why did you do that?" "Why would you put your baby in a laundry basket?" "Poor Claire Bear!" Blah...blah...blah
Well, my actions some 12 months ago have lead to a happy, well adjusted, basket-loving child! My "mother-of-the-year" skills are never ending.... Now, I let her climb in AND out of the basket full of clean clothes...all the while putting herself at risk for a wicked coffee-table induced head injury...my sweet little risk taker! She can't get enough of that fresh laundry scent....she even watches TV from the basket!
Kidding aside, she really is a pretty cool kiddo these days! She has managed to give HALF of the kids at daycare the croup....(we're trying to teach her to share!) She flirts with everyone she sees, and talks to every one and every thing she meets.... Add all of that charm to her graceful nature and sweet six-toothed smile, and you've got the whole package!
We love our sweet girl! (And we're finally over the croup/upper respiratory mess that we suffered through last week!)
