We had a busy one! Claire saw Dr. Reed again on Wednesday for her two week checkup. She weighed in at 8lbs 4oz, up two whole ounces from her birth weight! She eats light a piggy, sleeps well (but mostly during the daytime), poops like a machine, and is doing everything right on time. She follows your voice with her eyes and is constantly looking around.
We found out on Tuesday evening that a family friend of Adam's lost her father. His funeral was Thursday, so we went south to show our support. In doing so, Claire got to meet the bigger part of the Allen clan and a lot of the church family as well! She was passed around and held...okay...she was spoiled...all day Thursday. So, she slept awful and was up most of the night fussing on Thursday. Yesterday, she and I went to Spencer to meet more of my side of the family. And, again, she was spoiled and held all day long. So, last night was a rough one too! Claire doesn't seem to mind missing some sleep at night...she just makes up for it during the day!
