We were fortunate to have our first of three baby showers this past weekend. Adam's family (Mom Mona and Second Mom Terri) had worked very hard to put together a nice baby shower last Saturday! We had awesome cake (thanks to Carolyn) and played fun baby shower games. And, we got tons of awesome baby gear! Adam is especially fond of the Frog Pod tub toy caddy thing...which will be really cool as she gets older and actually plays in the tub with toys! We also got tons of really, really beautiful handmade baby blankets...Grandma Mona and Mamaw Carol both made really pretty blankets...that we can't wait to wrap this sweet little girl in!
Speaking of sweet little girl...she's getting kind of rowdy in there! Today she punched my bladder so hard it woke me up and I had to get up to pee.......again...... Those cute little kicks now morph my whole belly from one side to another and are beginning to hurt occasionally! We are so excited to meet her...and I know there are tons of folks who can't wait to meet her too! Seven weeks and counting!
