We had our third appointment with Dr. C. on Friday Jan 4! It wasn't a long or detailed appointment, simply a check of weight, blood pressure, urine (who knew they checked every month for protein and ketones in the urine...guess I forgot that part of OB class!) and then she found the baby's heartbeat on the first try! This time he or she was at about 145 beats per minute and was super easy to find!
Papaw is still in the hospital and is still very sick. He has lost a lot of weight and doesn't look like he feels good, although he tries to put up a good front. Pray for him...he needs it now. This week we should know a few more results and hopefully the docs will be able to really begin treating him for the true cause of the problems...which is clearly NOT pneumonia at this point. It's really hard to see him like this.
Anyhow...no other news right now! I'll try to post 16 week pictures tomorrow (I'm not actually 16 weeks until Monday...but whatever!) AND...we find out on January 31 if we're having a boy or a girl! Just four short weeks away!:)
