We had our big appointment today...and after much anticipation, found out there is a baby in there!:) Dr. C. looked for the heartbeat with a doppler but couldn't find it because of my heartbeat being in the way! So, she decided we would "cheat" and just do an ultrasound instead! I was so excited...and totally red in the face according to Adam! So, after over another 45 minutes of waiting (ultrasound had to warm up, then wouldn't work or stay on right) we finally got to see our little one moving all around in there! He or she was flopping all over the place in there...turning over and flinging hands and feet all over! It was so exciting and made it even more real that we really are going to have a baby! The heartbeat was eventually found (with the ultrasound) to be 162 beats per minute...a lively little one!
So, we have a few pictures that I'll try to upload in the next few days of our cute little one. They may not be completely clear...but its definite proof that there's a little baby!
